The two companies both announced today that Microsoft Windows Mobile will be ported over to the Qualcomm Mobile Station Mobile (MSM) chipset. Other beneficial results of the switch include extended battery life for mobile devices when runing intense applications such as products from Microsoft Office Mobile, Windows Media Player Mobile and others.
