BlackBerry 8800

Word on the web has it that Cingular will be releasing the BlackBerry 8800 sometime in the middle of February. Which means the BlackBerry 8800 might make it be your Valentine’s Day surprise, if you drop a few hints.

Unfortunately (for some), as of this writing it appears that the 1st Cingular verison of the 8800 will not have a camera or Wi-Fi. Keys on this model have been said to be much similar to the 8700, making it easy to maneuver your thumbs and express yourself.

As stated before, it appears that the 8800 will be RIM’s reassurance for enterprise business users that BlackBerry hasn’t gone soft and focus just on getting the communication job done.

The mysterious 9xxx Series (9 Series) from BlackBerry will get a new processor and some 3G action. The BlackBerry 9 xxx is said to also support full backup and restore via microSD card.

At the launch of the Blackberry 9 Series will RIM let BIS 3.0 out of the bag as well as a new UI. Release is scheduled for Q4 2007 on Cingular, so you can make your Holiday wishlist out now.
